Our shared local space
Privacy at AlmoraOnline
Clear choices for the way we connect.
Your account and submissions
We use your name and email to provide your account, send sign-in codes and service messages, and manage your listings, claims and enquiries. Your login email and private phone are not public profile fields. Contact-form messages are used to review and respond to your request; they are not published automatically.
Listings, photographs and business contacts
Approved listing text and photographs are public. Submit only information and images you have permission to share. Keep private contact details out of listing text and images. A business may separately maintain its public reception contact; this is different from an owner’s private account contact.
Directory enquiries and contact activity
Directory enquiries share your submitted name, email and message with the approved business recipient where available; optional private phone values are withheld. Mesh Creation, the directory operator, retains a separate copy for delivery support and follow-up. Without an approved business recipient, the directory team reviews the enquiry. Signed-in directory activity records successful logins, profile visits, contact views and enquiry references for restricted administrator support and abuse review; a click does not confirm a call. Public profile statistics use a daily keyed hash, not a stored raw visitor IP. Uploaded images are resized and unnecessary metadata is removed. The current defaults retain chat history for 180 days and contact audit for 90 days.
Private conversations and phone permission
Marketplace messages are stored for the conversation participants and for authorized service and safety review. Phone access requires the number owner’s approval for the named recipient and that number. Permission can expire or be declined or revoked; changing a number invalidates previous permission. Revocation stops future access but cannot erase a number someone has already seen. Permission and access history are retained for safety and quota enforcement.
Cookies, logs and optional analytics
Essential session and security data support sign-in and protect the service. Hosting and security systems may record request time, URL, browser information and network address. Optional Google Analytics, when enabled, starts only after you accept analytics and can be withdrawn through the analytics choice control. It excludes account, sign-in, administrator and private communication pages; it must not receive your email, phone, messages, free-text searches or form values.
Records, corrections and requests
We retain operational records needed to provide the service, handle enquiries and disputes, and investigate abuse. Closing a listing or revoking phone permission does not by itself delete its history. Contact us to ask about your information, request a correction or request deletion. We will review the request, verify the account where necessary and explain any records that must be retained.
Legacy pages and external services
Preserved legacy pages and embedded media may use their existing services and cookies. External websites, maps, videos and social networks have their own privacy policies. Review those policies before sharing information with them.

Optional public-page measurement
Google Analytics starts only after you opt in. It measures selected public page types, interface language and limited filter use. Typed searches, form answers, private contacts, messages and account, login or admin pages are excluded. This analytics choice does not grant advertising consent. Google may receive ordinary browser/device information and the request IP address. Measurement uses a random session identifier and session cookies; your preference is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days. Use “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of a public page to withdraw consent. This stops further measurement and removes these measurement session cookies; it does not retract data already sent.
