The nearest railway station is situated in Kathgodam, around 90 km away, and is directly connected by rail to major cities such as Delhi, Lucknow, Dehradun, and Kolkata.

The Ranikhet Express, which departs from Jaisalmer (Rajasthan), stops at Kathgodam and arrives at 5:05 AM. Extra coaches for Ramnagar are attached to this train, and it reaches Ramnagar at 4:50 AM. Another option is the Uttaranchal Sampark Kranti Express, which operates between Kathgodam and Delhi, departing at 8:50 AM and arriving in Delhi at 3:20 PM. The train returns from Delhi at 4:00 PM and reaches Kathgodam at 10:45 PM.

The Kathgodam-New Delhi Shatabdi Express runs every day of the week except Thursday, departing from New Delhi at 6:00 AM and arriving at Kathgodam at 11:10 AM. It returns from Kathgodam at 3:35 PM and reaches New Delhi at 09:05 PM. The Bagh Express connects Kathgodam directly to Howrah via Lucknow, while the Kathgodam-Dehradun Express runs daily between Kathgodam and Dehradun via Moradabad.
